JCCV Appoints New Executive Director

07 December 2012

The Jewish Community Council of Victoria (JCCV) today announced the appointment of their new Executive Director, David Marlow.

Mr Marlow comes to the JCCV with an extensive senior executive background in various industries in Australia and Asia, as well as substantial Jewish community involvement, both as a professional and as a volunteer.

He has proven experience in government, media and community relations and also brings with him extensive tertiary business qualifications, including an MBA from Monash University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Melbourne.

“David will commence as Executive Director in mid January, and we are confident that the breadth of his business and community experience will enable him to make a great contribution to JCCV, to our affiliated organizations and to the broader community,” said JCCV President Nina Bassat.

“I am delighted to be joining the JCCV, as I am passionate about the Jewish community and Israel, the issues we face and the future we want to build for our children,” said Mr Marlow.

“In the past, I have worked with many different ethnic and religious communities and I am keen to continue to build strong and productive relationships across the spectrum of society, and look forward to helping the JCCV be successful as the voice of Victorian Jewry,” said Mr Marlow.
