JCCV meets the Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV)

At the end of March, Hyder Gulam, ICV President and Shiekh Ramy Najmeddine, Religious Support and Office Manager met with the JCCV leadership. The meeting was warm and interesting, traversing religion, divorce, food, future plans, migrants and areas of commonality between our communities and faiths. It was a fruitful beginning and ICV and JCCV have committed to developing the relationship and goodwill starting with a function between the two executives.

Report Identity Motivated Crime

Victoria Police and the Jewish community have established a new system to ensure police respond effectively to antisemitic incidents. This will enable VicPol to effectively evaluate trends and action the response.

Always report antisemitism. Go to the police and call CSG in office hours on 9519 8600 or in an emergency after hours on 9523 0434.
